These originally designed toys have evolved over my thirty five years as a toymaker. They are made from various maples, cherry and walnut with some plantation-grown imported woods such as redheart, purpleheart and cocobolo for additional color. The toys are finished with walnut oil and then buffed with bee's wax. This all-natural finish is safe for both children and the environment. Gift cards, with a description of the woods, are included with each toy. ~ WJW
